The Robert A. Jolley Jr. Endowed Chair of Psychiatry and Community Health is the state of South Carolina’s first endowed chair that focuses on both the clinical and community commitment to mental health, benefiting generations of patients and families in perpetuity. The Jolley Endowed Chair, funded through the generosity of the Jolley Foundation, attracts and retains world-class faculty, engages and educates the wide spectrum of mental health providers in the Upstate, supports Prisma Health aligned community organizations and partnerships, provides the annual Jolley Award to the outstanding psychiatry resident, fellow and student learner, as well as creating other opportunities for clinical innovation.
